Frequently asked questions.

A field lookup is one API call to retrieve yield estimates or NDVI time-series for a specific field polygon ID. The 2,500 call limit covers the full 90-day Pilot window — for context, a crop insurer evaluating one Iowa or Illinois crop reporting district typically covers 300 to 700 insured field parcels. Batch lookups via /v1/fields/batch count as one call per field in the payload, up to 500 per request.

The Professional plan is priced per growing season — for corn/soy that's May through October; for winter wheat it's October through June. You can subscribe to both seasons at a discounted annual rate on request.

All tiers receive JSON via REST API by default. Enterprise customers may request GeoJSON field polygon exports and GeoTIFF raster delivery for direct integration with GIS platforms.

Yes — the Pilot tier gives you 90 days of free API access in one crop reporting district. Compare field-level yield predictions to your existing county-average models with real NDVI and P10/P50/P90 output before making any purchase decision.

Enterprise customers receive access to 8 years of historical NDVI time-series and retroactively computed yield model outputs from the 2017 growing season forward. Historical data is structured in the same JSON schema as live API output — enabling direct backtest against WASDE actuals or USDA NASS county yields. Historical archive is a separate data pull priced per crop and state — contact us to scope your backtesting requirements.
